One-off Sessions

Running Fundamentals

Not everyone needs an ongoing coaching relationship — sometimes you just want an hour to build the basics: how to warm up properly, how to think about your running form, and how to pace by effort rather than just numbers. Whatever's on your mind about your running — race goals, running in the heat, anything else — we'll talk it through too.

I'll also watch you run and give you a few easy-to-digest pointers on your form. This isn't a full run MOT — it's about giving you practical tips you can actually adopt straightaway and feel the benefit of, rather than a total rebuild.

We'll meet in person in central London for an hour together.

What we'll cover

  • Warm-up & drills — a proper warm-up and a few drills, focused on good habits that are easy to skip on your own

  • A short run, observed — you head out for a short run while I watch from the side. Afterwards I'll give you honest, practical feedback (and film it too, if that's helpful, so you can see what I'm seeing)

  • Effort & pacing — how to translate a "moderate effort" or "zone 2" instruction from an app or plan into something you can actually feel and use on your own

  • Whatever's on your mind — kit and trainers, race goals, hot weather running, or anything else that comes up

Who it's for

This works well whether you're completely new to running and want to start on the right foot, or you've been running a while and want a second pair of eyes on your form, your gear, or how you're pacing yourself.

One-off sessions are £75. Get in touch and let me know a bit about your running — we'll find a time and location that works.

Pay-as-you-go

Prefer to keep things flexible? Book sessions one at a time, whenever suits you - no pack to buy, no pressure to commit to more.

How it works

Each session is built around where you are that week — whether that's working on a specific goal, checking in on form, or just having someone to run alongside as you build consistency. We'll agree what each session focuses on together, so it always feels relevant to what you actually need.

Who it's for

This suits runners who want ongoing support and expert input, but aren't ready to commit to a longer coaching block — or want to try working together before deciding if that's right for you.

Sessions are £75 each, booked as you go.

Looking for something more ongoing?

If regular sessions turn into a long-term rhythm, we can talk about moving to a monthly coaching plan - built around what actually works for your life and training. No pressure, no set structure yet: just something to have in mind for down the line.
